Artificial flower plants
The best fake flowers are the ones that you look at closely,
but still just can’t tell if they are real or not, even if you
touch it and closely inspect it. These flowers exist, but there are
also many fake plants that are painfully obvious to be not real.
Artificial flower plants have been around for a while, but the earliest
significant advancements were made by the French in the 1800s. The French
actually learned the art from the Italians.
Toward the end of the 1700s, the French enjoyed worldwide acclaim as
the top faux flower makers in the world. Around this same time, the
art of making flowers was introduced in England by French refugees.
Soon after, it was also introduced in America.
Artificial flower plants are sometimes made to aid in science, but
for the most part, they are used for decorative purposes. Different
features and items are used in different kinds of flowers depending
on where they are created.
More recently, however, production methods use nylon netting stretched
over wire frames, carved or formed soap, ground clay and injection plastic
moldings.
Just like any other product, fake flowers have made many advancements
over the years, but it is still easy to trace their roots back to earlier
times.
