Artificial Trees
Ask nearly anyone what his favorite holiday is, and nine
out of ten people will tell you Christmas. But along with the good cheer,
giving attitudes, and presents are something else that you could probably
do without – pine needles.
Anyone who has ever cleaned up after a Christmas tree knows that pine
needles are probably the biggest pain associated with Christmas.
First of all, they are difficult to clean up. They are hard to sweep,
and if you use the vacuum cleaner, they end up clogging it up. Secondly,
if you miss even one pine needle, you can be sure that you will find
it at a later point as you walk barefoot around your home.
So, in order to avoid all of this, maybe you should consider taking
a look at artificial trees. These trees are definitely easier to take
care of and you can use them year after year after year.
Some of the advantages that are associated with buying fake Christmas
trees are:
• Clean – These Christmas trees came with parts that you
merely assemble in a few minutes and then you are ready to go. You don’t
have to worry about dragging it through your home or wondering how to
dispose of it. Simply take it out of the box before Christmas and then
put it back in after the holidays. No mess necessary.
• Inexpensive – Although most fake Christmas trees cost
more than real trees, this is all relative when you look at the big
picture. For example, if you spend $30 on a real tree every year for
30 years, you will have spent $900 when all is said and done. A fake
tree, however can last you for 30 years or more and you can find really
nice ones that cost less than a quarter the total cost of 30 real trees.
•Fun -- Artificial trees in recent years have gotten to be even
more fun. One of the things that many people like are the fiber optic
tips of the needles. You have no need to place lights on the tree, because
your tree will already have them on there. There are also trees available
that have the lights on the needles pre-installed.
Choosing if you want an artificial or a natural tree is a personal
preference, but if your number one goal is to have a tree that is easy
to deal with, then a fake tree would almost definitely be the right
choice for you.
